South Africa Ice Hockey Experience – Click Here For Details!

August 18 @ 12:00 am - August 25 @ 11:59 pm

$2,000.00 – $2,500.00

You probably didn’t think it was possible to play ice hockey and see a wild lion on the same day, but that’s exactly what you’ll do if you sign up for the first ever SAIHE 2024. We’re heading to Cape Town alongside members of the Kenya Ice Lions and Team Africa for an event hosted by the South African Ice Hockey Federation.

When we’re not on the ice, we’re going to explore the dynamic coastal city of Cape Town and its surrounding areas. This includes a bit of adrenaline (including diving with Great White Sharks), some history (including a visit to Robben Island) and a bit of pure fun (including visiting penguins).

Main activities:

  • Ice hockey tournament with the Kenya Ice Lions and Team Africa.
  • Site visits to discover South Africa.

About the event.

The SAIHE 2024 is a sports tourism experience utilizing a shared passion for hockey to develop cross-cultural friendships and support the development of a thriving African ice hockey community.

Highlights.

Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope and Penguins at Boulders Beach.

Embark on a captivating journey through the natural wonders of Cape Town, starting with a visit to the iconic Table Mountain. Ascend to the summit aboard the cableway and behold panoramic vistas of the city. Along the way, encounter the charming African penguins at Boulders Beach, marveling at their playful antics in their natural habitat.

Shark Cage diving.

Set against the backdrop of the picturesque coastal waters, this excursion offers thrill-seekers the rare opportunity to come face-to-face with one of the ocean’s most majestic predators.

Robben Island.

Embark on an enriching journey to Robben Island, a poignant symbol of South Africa’s struggle for freedom and democracy. Located off the coast of Cape Town, this UNESCO World Heritage Site bears witness to the resilience of the human spirit amidst adversity. Led by knowledgeable guides, visitors explore the former maximum-security prison where Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners were incarcerated during the apartheid era.

““This isn’t just another tour. We’re offering you the chance to join history in the making! Join us and you’ll experience South Africa in a way that few foreigners have before. “”
