From when we start on December 28 to when you fly home on January 3, 2027, this unique trip blends the thrill of playing hockey in Central Asia with time to explore the vibrant capital and its surrounding winter landscapes.

One of the most isolated nations in the world, Turkmenistan receives fewer tourists than both Afghanistan and North Korea. It’s also notoriously isolated, with the average outsider knowing very little about what goes on inside. Interestingly, Turkmenistan does have a thriving professional hockey league comprised of teams owned by various government ministries.
